Fibriant has entered into a collaborative research agreement with the AMOLF institute located in the Science Park Amsterdam. AMOLF is one of the research laboratories of the Foundation for Fundamental Research on Matter (FOM). The aim of the collaboration is to gain more fundamental knowledge on the biomechanical and biophysical properties of fibrin. Fibriant will be working with the research groups of Prof. Gijsje Koenderink, Prof. Bela Mulder and Prof. Yves Rezus and the research activities will include both state-of-the-art experimental approaches as well as computer simulation and modelling.
